« J’ai participé à mon premier colloque national de la section des archivistes communaux et intercommunaux de l’Association des Archivistes Français (AAF) à Nancy en octobre 2010. Un colloque est un moment particulièrement enrichissant pour développer son réseau.
Cette manifestation nationale organisée par l’AAF a une importance particulière car la majorité des archivistes communaux et intercommunaux se retrouvent souvent isolés dans leur service.
L’organisation de ce 10ème colloque de la section constitue aussi un moment important dans la vie et le développement des Archives municipales de Béthune. Une occasion inespérée pour promouvoir la ville et les multiples activités du service ».

“I did partake in my first Nationwide Communal and Intercommunal Archivists Conference of the French Archivists Association in Nancy in October 2010. A conference is a particularly rewarding experience for expanding its network.
This national event, organized by the French Archivists Association, is really important because the great majority of the Communal and Intercommunal Archivists are often separated in their own department.
The organization of the 10th Nationwide Communal and Intercommunal Archivists Conference constitute also an important moment in the life and development of the Town Archives of Béthune. An heaven-sent opportunity to promote the town and the numerous activities of our office”.
